Complementary to the SentoVox study

Sentio in SentoVox

An ongoing conversation with your visitors, on an equal footing with the audience study.

The study tells you how many, and how well you score. Sentio tells you why, and keeps on telling you.

SentoVox measures how your venue scores compared with the sector: NPS, experience, impact, expectations. That is the baseline you can measure yourself against.

Sentio adds an ongoing, AI-led conversation to that baseline. After the performance, visitors open a link or QR code, speak or type for two minutes in their own language, and you immediately see themes, sentiment and NPS on a live dashboard. That way you measure per performance or per production, not only per season.

How it works

From invitation to insight in three steps

1

Open

Your visitor scans a QR code, clicks a link or taps an NFC tag. No app, no account.

2

Speak or type

About two minutes, in their own language. More than 50 languages supported, spoken or typed, with a read-aloud voice for those who prefer to listen.

3

Understand

Answers, sentiment, themes and NPS appear live on your dashboard. You see trends per performance, per production, per target group and per period.

Alongside the study

What Sentio adds to what you already measure today

The why behind the figures

The study measures how many visitors are satisfied. Sentio lets them tell you why in their own words, straight after the performance. That insight feeds your programming and helps your team decide what to follow up first.

A reach no questionnaire can match

Venues serve a broad and diverse audience. Sentio has a low barrier to entry: spoken or typed, in 50+ languages, with a read-aloud voice. That way you also reach speakers of other languages, people with low literacy and visitors who find writing difficult. For a venue with a public mission, that is one of the strongest arguments in its favour.

A conversation, not a questionnaire

Sentio asks open questions that follow up on what the visitor says. Click-to-answer questions such as NPS remain possible within the conversation. Themes can vary from one respondent to the next: brief for each individual, complete across everyone.

Sector benchmark

Your own conversations, set directly against the sector study

Sentio does not start from scratch at your venue. Together with venues and universities, SentoVox is building Europe's largest audience research dataset for the performing arts: more than 130 venues, more than 60,000 respondents. Every Sentio customer can query that dataset dynamically and set their own results against it.

Anonymised and aggregated. You see how the sector moves, never how an individual venue scores.

This builds on the existing clusters and anonymous benchmarking that SentoVox already uses. The benchmark only becomes visible once a minimum number of venues per cluster are taking part.

Trust

Every insight carries its sources

Sentio Proof is the traceability layer that turns AI analysis into a verifiable report. For an audience used to academically grounded research, this is the bridge between AI and reliability.

  • Every insight carries its sources: click through from a conclusion to the underlying conversations.
  • Figures are counted, not estimated.
  • Quotes are verbatim or they do not exist. Sentio Proof verifies against the transcript.
  • A human approves before publication.

Feedback and Signal

Use them separately or together

Two channels, one inbox.

Sentio Feedback

Collects experiences, wishes and signals from visitors via the dynamic conversation.

Sentio Signal

The reporting channel: a broken toilet, a damaged cloakroom locker, an unsafe situation in the foyer. Visitors report it via the same link or QR code. Your team receives a notification and the report is categorised automatically.

You decide whether to use both, or Feedback only.

Accessibility

Usable by everyone who visits your venue

Sentio is built with accessibility as its starting point: high contrast, visible keyboard focus, screen reader support, calm animations. Visitors can speak or type, with a read-aloud voice. Those who prefer listening to reading can do so. Those who prefer typing to speaking can too. Built in line with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Privacy

Your data stays yours

The AI processors Sentio uses do not train on your data and keep no data (zero data retention). Your results are kept, in your own dashboard.

Results and transcripts remain the property of your venue. The sector benchmark works exclusively on anonymised, aggregated data. No individual venue is identifiable.

Who this works for

Four firm promises for your venue

Decide

Make accountable choices on programming, investment and opening hours, based on what visitors themselves tell you.

Improve the experience

A continuous signal instead of one snapshot per season. Make adjustments between two waves of the study, and per performance.

Support your funding

A quantitative study combined with ongoing quotes and themes from visitors. Powerful in funding applications and annual reports.

Reach new audiences

Languages, speaking or typing, a read-aloud voice: you also hear from the people you are missing today.

Frequently asked questions

Five questions, briefly answered

Does Sentio work alongside our participation in SentoVox?

Yes. Sentio is deliberately designed as a complement, not a replacement. The study provides the baseline and the sector benchmark; Sentio provides the ongoing conversation in between.

Do visitors need an app or an account?

No. Sentio opens in the browser via a link, QR code or NFC tag. Two minutes is all it takes.

In which languages can visitors answer?

More than 50 languages, spoken or typed. That is deliberately broader than the six languages of the SentoVox study.

What does Sentio cost?

Pricing on request, depending on the size of your venue and the expected volume. No hidden costs. Request a quotation via the contact page.

Can we compare our results with other venues?

Yes, anonymised and aggregated. You see how the sector moves, never how an individual venue scores.
