Ongoing, alongside the study

SentoVox measures. Sentio keeps listening.

Sentio is the ongoing conversation from Sento Group. Visitors open a link or QR code and speak or type for two minutes in their own language. That way you hear what matters after every performance, on an equal footing with the SentoVox study.

  • Measure per performance or per production, not only per season.
  • The why behind the figures, in your visitors' own words.
  • Sector benchmark against the SentoVox data, anonymised and aggregated.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

SentoVox is a large-scale, independent audience study for performing arts venues: theatres, concert halls and cultural centres. The study was developed with 7 European universities and is supported by sector organisations such as cult!, the VSCD and the ENCC.

No. The study follows a ready-to-use process in three steps: you confirm your participation, you enter your venue's details on the research platform, and you promote the survey using the communication materials supplied. The research team personalises and programmes your survey.

The participation fee depends on the number of visitors per year and ranges from 625 to 1,750 euros, excluding VAT. Everything is included: questionnaire, dashboard, report, benchmark, communication materials and helpdesk. Groups receive a tailored offer.

Registration is open all year round. After registering, you choose the timing that best suits your programming and visitor flow. You can run the study over a longer period or choose specific time windows.

The target group is your venue's visitors. If you wish, you can also include lapsed visitors and non-visitors. The dynamic survey recognises these profiles and shows only the questions that are relevant to them.

Every type of performing arts venue, small or large, traditional or contemporary, whatever its programming, structure or funding model. The study is scalable: from an intimate theatre to a national concert hall.

In Dutch, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. You choose which languages you offer. The number of languages does not affect the participation fee.

You receive a personal link and QR code, plus communication materials and a briefing on sampling strategies. The survey is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablet and smartphone. In the pilot study, around 80 percent of respondents completed the questionnaire in full.

Yes. No personal data is collected from respondents. Your results remain confidential and are shared only with the contacts you designate. All data is stored on secure servers within the European Union or the United Kingdom.
